Current bike rack locations in Highland Park
2015 Additional bike racks will be installed between Randolph Ave and Ford Parkway as part of the A-Line Project.
2014 The Highland District Council enlisted the assistance of high school students from Highland Park, St Paul Academy and Cretin-Derham Hall in designing new bike racks for Highland Park. Two Cretin-Derham Hall students were selected as submitting the top entries: Rachel Jackson and Rose Anderson. Vicky Chen, also from Cretin, was selected as the third place winner. The Highland District Council agreed that the top two designs will be merged into a final bike rack design by Dero. Bike racks have been placed along the Ford and Cleveland intersection in the Public Right of Way. They will be installed with the Village streetscape to help save money. The Highland Business Association and the Highland District Council are contributing one third of the cost to help pay for any above standard costs.
