Ford Site – Ryan Companies Meeting – Thursday, August 16th

Master Plan Site Review
When: 7:00 – 9:00 pm
Where: Highland Park Junior High/Middle School Auditorium
975 Snelling Ave S, St Paul, MN 55116

From Ryan Companies:

When the Ryan team was awarded the former Ford site for redevelopment, we committed to put forth extensive due diligence to understand the history and complexities of the site, working with the City to align with their vision. Our hope is that this process will make the aspirations of the master plan a reality.

The Ryan team has made positive advancements in our planning for the Ford site development, however due to recent meetings we have realized that a few elements of our plan require additional design and evaluation prior to presenting to neighbors and other stakeholders. For that reason we want to use our time on this Thursday evening, August 16th, to review the information that was expressed by the community in the July 31st listening session and to garner further feedback as we advance our planning and due diligence efforts.

The plan for Thursday’s Ford Meeting Update #2 will be to continue to align our vision with the city, key stakeholders and Highland Park neighbors so that we can fine tune our plans. We are looking forward to using this time and these opportunities to share and gain feedback.

Garbage Hauling Transition Information

On Wednesday, August 2, brochures notifying 1-4 unit households of their new hauler, collection day and garbage cart size(s) will be mailed to both property owners and residents in this program (approximately 85,000 mailers going out).

Also on August 2, updates to the Garbage section of the City website,www.stpaul.gov/garbage, will go live, including an interactive map where people can search their address to find their new hauler and collection day. The interactive map can be found at www.stpaul.gov/garbagemap.
