The City of Saint Paul and the Ford Site Planning Task Force invite the public to a meeting to summarize the extensive community input from 2015 and the studies that have shaped City priorities for the Ford site. Hear about next steps to prepare zoning and a public realm plan for the site, including traffic and real estate studies underway to evaluate redevelopment concepts.
The Transportation Committee will be hosting a Community Meeting about a proposed Snelling Ave median from Highland Parkway to Randolph Ave. The meeting will be held on Monday, November 30th at 6:30 pm at the Highland Park Community Center. This meeting is open to the public.
This meeting will focus on a proposed median on Snellling Avenue between Highland Parkway and Randolph Avenue.
The median is proposed for installation from Highland Parkway to Randolph Ave. No construction is currently planned. Community input is being sought on the concept and design, and will be used for cost estimation and potentially for a funding application.

Community Working Group Final Recommendations – Meeting and Presentation
Monday, November 9, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Location: University of Saint Thomas, Anderson Student Center (ASC) 378, South Woulfe Alumni Hall, 6 p.m. Monday.
Directions: Enter the student center at the NE corner of Cretin and Summit; the diagonal sidewalk leads to a triple set of glass doors. From there, take the grand staircase to the third floor and turn right at the top. Or enter ASC and veer left to the elevators. You’ll turn left on third floor once you exit the elevators.
- Parking for cars available in Anderson Parking Facility, the ramp at the intersection of Grand and Cretin.
- Bus line #63 comes directly to Summit and Cretin: http://www.metrotransit.org/route/63
- Parking for bicycles available on John P. Monahan Plaza on the southern edge of the football field. The student center is accessible from Monahan Plaza.
