Volunteer for the Fall Clean Up Event

Fall Cleanup, September 28th: Volunteers needed!

Mark your calendars for the Highland Macalester Groveleand Fall Neighborhood Clean-up on Saturday, September 28th from 9:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m.on Shepard Road between Alton and Davern Visit http://highlanddistrictcouncil.org/programs-and-services/neighborhood-clean-ups-spring-and-fall/ for entrance fees and detailed information about what is accepted at the cleanup.

Volunteers are always key to making a huge event like the clean-up a success. This is a great way for families, friends, or neighbors to volunteer together! With a variety of jobs (for heavy lifters and people who can’t do heavier work), we’ll find a spot that’s a good fit for you! We are also in need of a few people with trucks or trailers to help haul re-use items to Goodwill at the end of the clean-up. Please let us know if you are able to help! In exchange for volunteering your time in the morning or afternoon (or both), you receive a $15 voucher for the clean-up and a free lunch. Please contact Kathy at 651-695-4005 or hdc@visi.com to sign up!

Household Hazardous Waste will be at the Clean up again.  There is no charge to dispose of HHW.
